CASE STUDY · DIGITAL PRODUCT

An online sign-up. A door to open. One system to connect them.

In an unstaffed 24/7 gym, the digital journey is part of the entrance experience. I am building the connection between choosing a plan, paying, entering by QR and managing the club.

THE EXPERIENCE IN VIDEO

See the experience in motion.

Current DGym version in local demo mode: consult QR access and activity. No physical door is connected.

01 · The challenge

The experience continues after payment.

Choosing a plan is only the beginning. Members need to reach the door and understand how to enter; the team needs to monitor members, access and billing. The challenge is to design these moments as parts of the same product.

The response uses two interfaces: an app organised around member tasks and a console organised around club operations. The entrance terminal completes the intended journey.

02 · The journey

From choosing a plan to entering the club.

Four steps in sign-up. Access is the destination, with physical integration still to complete.

  1. Plan

Choose a membership or day pass.

  2. Details

Enter the details required for sign-up.

  3. Payment

Go through payment in test mode.

  4. Access

Continue to the QR access intended for the club.

03 · The experience

Three moments, up close.

Start with the right choice.

Plan selection comes before personal details, starting with the decision that matters to the member.

Design principleOne task at a time, with a clear destination.

Give members their own experience.

The app brings together QR access and weekly activity. Entry and visit tracking share the same experience without exposing the management console to members.

Design principleSeparate member tasks from club tasks.

Give managers context.

The console brings together the club overview, members, entries and revenue, and includes member support, access requests, billing and security.

Design principleConnect the entrance experience to club operations.
